This is the one we are planning on buying too, just got money from my parents to buy it. I stopped someone on the street the other day who had it, and she was very happy with the skate stroller. Couldn't stop talking about how good it was. She did not mention anything about how heavy it is though.
My girlfriend has it. It is very sharp looking and functions really well! But yes - it is very substantial and heavy. Totally depends on your needs! I scoot downtown too much and will be lugging my stroller in and out of the back of my car too much for this one. But if you don't envision having to lift it very often, it's a great stroller. I'm looking at the inglesina zippy or the valco lattitude for a lighter weight model.
Just wanted to update anyone who was interested... I went to look today.. yes it is great but it was SO heavy and took up so much space when collapsed, I had to discount it.
The Peg Perego Uno was really nice, reversible handles, lightweight, lays flat, big basket.
