What is going on with Celebrate Express lately?!

I ordered the items for Christopher's birthday.  I placed two separate orders because at the time I did the first one, the pi?ata wasn't available.

I get the first one and the cups (2 packs) were missing.  I could tell that the person that packed it noticed it because they made a mark indicating that it wasn't there, but I guess s/he got sidetracked and closed the box without putting it in there.  So, I called and they are sending me the 2 packs of cups (no problem).

I got the second order yesterday.  I ordered 2 pi?atas and only one came.  I called to ask if I should be expecting another box with the second one in it or if it was truly missing.  It's MISSING!  So, they are sending it. 

The corrections have been painless and the customer service people I've dealt with have been great....but goodness!  I've been ordering birthday things from them for YEARS and have NEVER had anything remotely close to this happening once, let alone twice within a week!

  • Hmmmm.... I placed the order for C's party supplies on Tuesday and I should get them by the 17th... I guess I will know then if they made mistakes, but so far so good.  But I also only placed one order.

    On a side note, I did order C's costume for Halloween from Costume Express last year.  I ordered early (thank goodness) and when I got it, the bag had been torn and the seam for the zipper was really crooked and it was obvious that it had been return for defective.  They sent me a new one asap and it was fine.
