Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Any 9 monthers with no teeth yet?

My DD will be nine months old tomorow and still hasn't sprouted one single tooth!!  Everyone tells me the later the better, but I am starting to wonder since the 3 month old @ her daycare has 2 already!!

Re: Any 9 monthers with no teeth yet?

  • she is 10.5mo and no teeth.

i didn't have teeth until i was 13 months. and then got six in one week and two more the next week.

means nothing- kids get their teeth when they are ready.

  • DS didn't cut his first teeth until 10 months. And we were told by a dentist friend that the later they get their teeth, the stronger they are (or something, it was a good thing, though). Enjoy that gummy smile while you can!
  • Lily will be 9 months on the 23rd and doesn't have any teeth. ?Both my brothers and I didn't get teeth until we were 11 months. ?

  • DD got her 1st 2 teeth the day she turned 9 months.

Jenefaries (sp) DD is almost 1 and still doesn't have teeth. Don't worry!

  • A couple weeks away from 9 months and no teeth. This week she's been entirely fussy, sleeping like crap, diarrhea, runny nose, etc., but there's no sign on her gums of anything trying to pop through. I've suspected teeth many times before, so this time, I just don't believe the symptoms.Stick out tongue

  • DD got her 1st tooth a week before she turned 10 months.  The following week the 2nd bottom tooth.  She'll be 11 months in about a week and her top teeth are starting to come through.
