Good morning! Things are good here. Baby is kicking up a storm, having a little party in my belly
I'm having two showers and both are a surprise, but I deducted that both are in June. Considering I'm due early August, I think thats kind of late cause that only gives me a little over a month to finish the nursery, get the baby supplies in order, buy remaining registry items, etc. I'm in full out registering mode right now, and am completely overwhelmed!
Good Morning-
I have no idea when or even if I am having a shower. I know my MIL wants to plan something with my mom, but I don't think it's happened yet. I also fear they are going to wait until later than I want. Work will probably have something also. The last day of school is 6/17 so I would think it would happen before the end of the year!?
Hi! All is good here, I got my Down screening results, 1:100 000. Pretty good! My OB confirmed I will be off work until delivery, I am getting used to being a SAHW, and I must say I wish we could afford for me to do it forever, but we cannot!

Monday QOTD: Are you planning on vaccinating?
Yes we plan on vaccinating. We are noth nurses & tend to be very medically oriented in our decision making. Prevention is #1 for us.
Wednesday QOTD: Whats the coolest place you have visited?
Probably Sweden. I went as an exchange student & lived there for 6 months. Such an amazing experience.
Friday QOTD: When is your shower?
My first one is June 7th, I will be 30 wks, which I think is good timing. My MIL is throwing one July 26!! I will be 36 wks, this stresses me out beyond belief! She also criticizes if I mention buying something before then, UMM I can't wait till I am 9 months pregnant to get some of the stuff! Ugh I will wait till after the 2st & evaluate what i need immediatly and what can wait
My shower is May 23rd...and im really excited. We are traveling back home for it though, which is a 5 hour drive..but we will get there somehow.
I have an appt today with my new doc and im excited about that. I have lots of new questions...i wonder if i get an u/s since im a new patient?? LOL..i doubt it, but i can always hope

I'm having weird dizzy spells over the last 24hours. Not light headed dizzy..just odd woozy or something. I can't really explain it. Maybe I'm over tired?
Anyhoo...Friday QOTD: When is your shower? I'm not having one. We don't do them in Ireland. People wait till the baby is born and buy gifts then.We don't do bridal showers either. They are a nice idea though..I would love a party with lots of gifts! It'd be like being a kid again!

Good morning, with being due August 19th, and summer vacation from work my mom and I did have to go over dates for the shower. I did not want it over the summer because many of my work friends go away ..So we decided between the June weddings and functions for our family it would be June 28th. Then my work friends are having one on June 19th which includes then men of the school at a friends house. I am so thankful for my work and family.
Yesterday I felt the baby move for the 1st time and so did DH. It was not a bIG kick but something was moving. It was so cool, I cannot wait for big kicks.

Tried to find out B or G on 3/31... nothing doin' with the bean (modest? shy? lazy?)... will try again on 4/28. Just started feeling movements Wednesday night - and it has been off and on ever since! Yay little mango!

Monday QOTD: Are you planning on vaccinating?
Yes, we vaccinated DS because there has been no scientific proof that vaccinations are linked to autism or any other type of childhood illness. He was a preemie and spent 4 months in the NICU as well so there was no way I was leaving him a hospital to have multiple blood transfusions and not having him vaccinated. The only thing I am holding off on this time is the Hep B shot they give at birth. I am waiting to administer that with my pedi.

Kauai, Hawaii. We honeymooned there and it was absolutely gorgeous.

This is my second baby, so no shower. We just need to buy our double stroller and we are good!!!

Good Morning. I am so happy its Friday. Everything is good w/ me and the baby. I had my monthly appt yesterday and while listening to the heartbeat baby punched, kicked, or head-butted right where the doppler was. It was pretty funny!
My mom is throwing a shower for me on June 20th & my "work" mom is also planning something for me, but I am unsure of the date...all I know is that it is at her pool & that makes me excited!!

Hey ladies, I have not had a chance to check in a while. First let me say that I am having a BOY! He has been very active these past few weeks. My next appt is this saturday, which makes me excited cause I get to hear the heartbeat, again!.
I will be having a shower, not sure of the date. But my mom, MIL, and BFF are putting it together, so I am sure it will be great. At my DS babyshower, we had about 75-100 people, so this one will probably be on the same level! LET THE FUN, and PLANNING BEGIN!!

Don't know the gender yet because baby would not be still during ultrasound (clearly, this is its Daddy's baby....he's the same way), but I'm trying to schedule another ultrasound to find out!
I don't know what's going on with the showers yet. I know my Mom is planning on holding one, probably in either june or july. I've been told DF's family will be holding one, but I know absolutely nothing about that, other than they told DF and apparently his aunt also told my old roomate to be sure to show up!
QOTD: Monday: We are undecided on all the vaccinations. We will most likely give them but not the MMR until school age.
QOTD: Wednesday: I think Scotland would top my favorite place to go although I did go when I was in the military.
QOTD: Friday.... We are having two showers, the 1st on May 3rd, due to weddings the rest of May and holdidays. The 2nd one is on May 17th.
I wanted to be all ready in case we went early. I wanted all my ducks in a row. I know there will be items we need to purchase but I did not want to purchase them and then receive them as a gift.

Friday QOTD: When is your shower?
My mother and MIL are hosting one big shower together for both families and all of our friends. I believe it is June 20th. Is that a bit early since we are due August 31st? I think it was tough to find a date with all the weddings and summer parties, plus the 4th of July holiday. Anyway, I can't wait for it! I know they are doing a little yellow ducky theme too! So cute!

This is my 2nd so there will be no "shower" technically but I know DH's family will have a "sprinkle"...I have no idea when but I am assuming probably the 3rd week of June but we'll see. My MIL feels every baby should be celebrated and I am happy about it since we're having a different sex this time around.

Hello Ladies!
So far this PG has been a ride. I found out yesterday that I could be leaking amniotic fluid and be in the beginning stages of pre-term labor.. so... back on bed rest I go WOOHOO!...
We also found out we are having a boy!! We are more than thrilled.
We do plan on vaccinating and I really haven't traveled much so I would have to say the coolest place I've visited is Disney world. (I'd a Disney freak so I guess it fits lol) and i think my shower is in July sometime.. I think the weekend after the 4th.

Happy Good Friday! I'm a bit behind this week. I always have all intentions of doing the check in but my pregnancy brain kicks in and I totally forget. Baby P is doing awesome. He/she is kicking hard enough for daddy to feel, which is SO cool.

Wednesday QOTD: Whats the coolest place you have visited? - oh that's hard to narrow down, I loved Alaska with the family, Europe (London, Interlaken, Amsterdam & Paris) with my best friend but my honeymoon with my hubby to Costa Rica was nothing short of amazing so I would have to say there.
Friday QOTD: When is your shower? May 16th - a bit early but one of the ladies who really wants to go is leaving the country for the summer at the end of May.

News: Wednesday had big US #2 (actually 4th US to check gender) and its a girl! Finally, she cooperated! We are so excited! Ordered her bedding last night so we can get started on the nursery. Tommorow we are going to hit BRU and register! We are also thinking about names, we have it down to 7, ehhh!

Woohoo Friday! I should be bummed because we just bought a new lawn tractor and it's storming today, but the rain and thunder is soooo nice to listen to. It's really relaxing. Too bad my dogs flipped out and woke me up so early...I'll probably end up napping most of the day, rather than getting anything done.
QOTD: I'm not having a shower. I guess I would be okay with having one, but they just seem like such a desperate cry for attention and gifts. Thankfully any of my friends/family who would throw me such a thing live out of state, so if people want to send gifts for the baby, they can, but I don't have to suffer through being the center of attention.
Friday QOTD: When is your shower? ?Sometime in the end of June, but a date hasn't been set yet (and I'm not really in the loop on the details). ?I'm pretty excited about having a baby shower, since I didn't have a wedding shower and only three girls were able to come to my bachelorette party.?

Shower.....I don't think I am having one. Since my kids are so close in age (DD will be 17 1/2 months when baby is born) we have everything that i think we need and all of our "stuff" is gender neutral so it will work. We just need BOY clothes this time...oh, and a double stroller

We are having one shower in May (Memorial Day weekend) back at home in Indiana. Most of my family will be in town then, so DH will get to meet a few people that he hasn't had a chance of meeting yet.
I'll probably have one more in July, but that's not set in stone yet.

This is my 2nd baby- so no shower for me.
Everything has been going great this week. We have figured out our LO is very temperature sensitive. She freaks out a little if it gets too hot or too cold. The other day, one of the dogs (50 lb pitt/lab mix) was sitting in my lap and snuggled up against my bump. The baby started repeatedly kicking right where the dog was until she moved. The next day the dog did the same thing and we got the same results. (My LO never kicks in the same place twice, she's all over the place) She also doesn't like if the laptop is too close to my stomach or if I drink really cold drinks. If this continues after delivery, it should be very interesting.
QOTD: My MIL asked me this week if I was ever going to register so her family could throw me a shower so I guess I'm having one (hadn't really planned on it--I'm very anti-shower games) I have no other details.
