Nothing like a little vacation excitement that wakes you up at 5am lol

We are 95% packed...just pillows & blankets left and stuff for the cooler are left.  Once those are packed its all going in the van.

DHand Mandi took the day off...Britt is going to school for half day & Michelle has preschool this morning.  I have to drop off 1 of my dogs to my parents when I take Michelle to preschool.

So DH & Mandi are gonna pack up the van.  Then DH is gonna take a little nap since we are driving straight thru during the night.  The rest of us will get home around 12:30.

Wake dh up around 1:30 make some sandwiches for lunch.  And then load up everyone including a 90lb mastiff that we are dropping off in Conn & hopefully be on the road by 2- 2:30ish.

I'm gonna miss you girls!

Brings back so many memories when my older kids were little.  The only difference is we always left after my DH got home from work.  We'd drive for a couple of hours and stop for dinner around 7-8...then they would sleep all night!  lol  We'd stop for breakfast and shortly after they would sleep again until we stopped for lunch.  It was great.  We would do a 36 hour drive to Phoenix every year.  We don't go there now and the longest drives are to FL...23 hours.  Hopefully your little ones will sleep a lot while you're driving.
