Starbucks Chai Latte?

...anyone drink it while pregnant? ?I've heard there's not a lot of caffeine in them. ?Anyone know??

I LOVE those and haven't had one in forever since I had to stop eating dairy and I don't eat soy products either. I miss them! I would check their site, it might say.  I actually heard tea has more caffeine sometimes, depending on the tea, than coffee, but who knows. Plus, chai lattes are like 2-3 inches of chai tea and the rest milk.

I've had many since getting pregnant!  My doc is fine with a moderate amount of caffeine (no more than 2 cups of coffee per day) and the only thing stopping me from drinking coffee like usual is my pg induced coffee aversion.  Instead I'm drinking tea every day, which has less caffeine but at least enough to keep me functioning.

I do every once in awhile. I love the Chai Tea Latte!  I think it's ok as long as you aren't drinking more than one a day. But I would l limit myself to maybe only one Starbucks or maybe 2 a week.  I don't know how strong Starbucks makes their coffees/teas.

Seeing as how I'm still drinking regular coffee and espresso when I want them, yes.  I am still drinking chai.

mmm I want one so badly. ?I love them, but I can't have caffeine even when I am not pregnant (except one soda a day), so I never get them anymore. ?I know they have quite a bit of caffeine in them, but not sure how much. ?Starbucks nutritional website might say. ?

These have tons of caffeine, but I found a place by my house that sells AMAZING chai lattes without caffeine!!!  I was SO EXCITED!

I worked for Starbucks for 7 years, and LOVE Chai lattes! There is caffeine in chai, about as much as one shot of espresso, which is less than a 12oz cup of coffee! Brewed coffee has more caffeine, so a chai is more than fine for you! Plus with fresh milk and a extra foam......delicious!! Also, you can buy Tazo Chai (the brand Starbucks carries) at the grocery stores caffeine free, and with warm milk from home is so good too!

I still drink my iced chai tea latte and I had a shaken black iced tea with raspberry the other day. I just get tall or grande instead of venti.

Yes, I do.  It's 100mg of caffeine in a grande I think.  I checked awhile ago on the starbucks website.  I limit myself to no more than 200mg in one day, so I would enjoy your chai latte!
