only poop one or two times per week?

I keep hearing/reading that people's toddlers poop 1-2 times/day and it sort of worries me that DD is so infrequent.  She's not uncomfortable or anything.  She just doesn't go that often.  I know all kids are different but is there anything wrong with this pattern?  I'm sure now that she's PTing (mostly PTd) it has had some effect.  She was going like every 3 days when wearing diapers and we're still "working" on the poop in the potty thing.

Now I'm rambling, but is this harmful to my DD at all or is it fine?

The only harm I see it doing is that they get more constipated, which makes it hurt more, which makes them hold it in more. Now, if I see DD hasn't gone by day 3, I give her prunes or a little bit of Miralax so when she does go, its not too hard.

For me, I don't see it as a big deal, all the woman in my family are the same exact way.

Thanks XBG that makes me feel better.  DD doesn't seem bothered by it at all but when I here about all of these every day poopers, it makes me worry a bit!

yep, every other kid I know goes AT LEAST 1x a day. My DD hasn't been like that since she was an infant. Her pedi said its not a big deal. I know the issue is fiber, she definitely doesn't get enough, she eats all carbs, just like me.

Will your DD eat prunes? When B was a little younger I told her it was gum and she ate them up, we still call it gum and she knows I give it to her to help her go.
