what should I do?

So I am currently on Day 8.  We plan to do an IUI cycle.  In the past, I have ovulated around day 18 ish, with the exception of last month where I ovulated on Day 11.  I got a lh surge and got in for an ultrasound and we did an IUI right away since the ultrasound showed that my egg already released.   The IUI obviously wasn't successful. 

 The last 2 days I've had super EWCM, so I'm wondering if I shoudln't go in tomorrow for an ultrasound to see where we are at?  I've got an appointment on friday for an U/S but for some reason my gut is saying I should go in sooner.  I tested my LH today and it wasn't positive yet, but definately getting there.  In the past (except last cycle) I got a trigger shot and I feel like I want a trigger shot this cycle too just to make a stronger ovulation.

 What do you all think? I am OOP so each U/S costs me $200 bucks.

Are you on any medication?  How strong is that gut feeling?  I'm OOP on U/S too, but if it was very strong, I'd pay the money just to be on the safe side.   Especially since you O'd on Day 11 last month.  Your follies might be big enough that they could tell you to trigger in a day or two.   I wish it wasn't so freaking hard to figure out the right thing to do!

I think I'd hold off unless you get a +OPK

I would wait until you get a postive OPK and then call if its before friday!

I'd wait until you get a positive OPK too.  If you're really concerned, see if they can do the u/s or get a blood draw.  Good luck!
