Complete AW: I almost made it!

Thursday Morgan will be 1 which means I was able to breastfeed her for a full year!  I am so proud of myself that I want to wear a sign around town and scream it from the rooftops.  I am a dork, I know.  But it wasn't easy to keep bf-ing up and working full-time since Sept and damnit I am proud.  

We aren't quitting yet (she wouldn't have it), but after Easter break I am not going to pump at work anymore!!! HURRAY!!!! 

Okay, done being an attentionwhore.  I am just so proud and no one IRL thinks this is much of an accomplishment, although IRL I only know one person who has bf-ed this long.

AW all you want!  It is a big commitment, and I know what a huge PITA it is to pump at work.  I also quit pumping at work after 1 year and my PSA to you is to remember to wear breast pads until your boobs adjust to the new schedule.

That is awesome. ?I made it just over a year (14 months) w/ DD1 and that is seriously one of the things I am the most proud of in my life. ?I am hoping to last a little longer here w/ DD2...we're almost at 8 months, and I think my supply is dropping horribly fast w/ being PG.?

All I have to say is unbelievable!!!  I stuck it out 6 months with my first and I was proud.  that is amazing.  Give yourself a huge pat on the back!!

Congrats!  We made it 15 months before I was almost completely dried up and she practically weaned herself!

It is SO hard sometimes but not impossible!

I think that BFing while working full time is a HUGE accomplishment! Good for you! I just fully weaned DS, and I really don't think I could have made it over a year of I worked. That is seriously awesome and takes major dedication, you deserve to shout it from the rooftops!
