NMR: OMG, I am DYING here!

So this has NOT been a good trip for me.  First I came down with strep throat and had to nurse myself back to health.  Last night at around 7:30p I developed this wierd rash thing on one of my thighs.  It ended up whelping to the point that the small bumps turned into one large bump the size and shape of Africa.

I called the hotel dr and he didn't know what it was.  Took me off the antibiotics I had been taking for the last 5 days and gave me a prescription for some steriods that I need to fill when the pharmacy opens.

Now the big patch is gone but the rash has spread all over my arms, the lower part of my legs, my other thighs and it is starting to creep to my face.

It ITCHES like crazy and I feel like I have ants under my skin.

OMG!!!

I once had a bad reaction to an antibiotic and it started with an itchy rash (with little bumps) on my fingers. I stopped the med and it went away in about 3 days....I hope that is what fixes you!!?

oh man, i hope they medicine helps! when i was dealing with a PUPPS rash after the boys were born (for SIX WEEKS after the boys were born) i finally was given prednisone which helped. so i hope it helps you!

Do you think you could be having an allergic reaction to the sheets and towels at your hotel?  I know they usually wash w/lye soap or something like that.

I know that often times a red sandpaper-like rash is associate with strep.  If it is that then you would definitely want to continue the antibiotics to get rid of it...
