Anyone have a keurig coffee maker?

Pros/Cons? We hardly ever need the pot - so I was looking at single serve coffee pots and the Keurigs seem to get really good reviews. Wondering if anyone here has one?

  • We love ours!  We have Prime shipping to Amazon ($79/year for 2 day shipping) and they sell 2, 25 cup boxes of most brands for $19-23.  You can also get some of the more popular brands at wholesale clubs.

  • LOVE ours! It's so convenient and quick. I hated using our big coffee pot just to make a few cups. It was a pain to clean, took forever between grinding and brewing, and even with the fresh ground beans, it never tasted as fresh and flavorful as these do. I can't see myself ever going back to pot coffee.

  • We've had ours for over a year and love it.  It works awesome because DH and I are not up and at em at the same times so we can each brew our own coffee when we're ready for it.  Also he likes hazelnut and I'm more of a dark roast/french vanilla girl.  So we can each enjoy our own favorites without the other having to drink it.  Its always the right temperature and it brews so quickly.

We buy our K-cups from coffeewiz.com and they're about $10 for a box of 25.  There are so many different varieties to choose from.  If you buy 5 boxes or more at a time you get free shipping.

  • This looks like a perfect coffee maker for our house since I drink coffee and DH doesn't.  But do you girls keep a larger coffee pot on hand for when you have house guests?  That would be my only concern...I've actually been considering getting a bigger coffee pot for that very reason.

My sis keeps her larger coffee pot for parties and such.  Just last week for her dd's confirmation she pulled out the old/large one and brewed a pot of coffee.  I on the other hand do not, if I have company- I will use the Keurig...I have never been able to make a large. great tasting pot of coffee though.
