i have a calvin & hobbes at the top of my left leg (near my hip) that i got when i was 19, and a british flag with a little runner and "26.2" underneath on my lower back. (yes. like a tramp stamp. ha ha ha!) i got that one in 2002 after i ran my first marathon (in london, hence the union jack.)
Don't have one but plan on getting a memorial tattoo to my mom on either my left or right upper back with her photo and some other meaningful symbols. Saving money for it and want to have it done out in LA. Probably in a few years though...
I have one on my left shoulder blade its a rose 3 hearts and swirls (mom and sister have the same one slight differences in different spots) I am going to get another one on my right foot but now I have to work the boys sign into it.
****pam, I love that you have a Calvin and Hobbes! I miss them.
I had an adidas symbol with an H behind it for my college soccer team. I'm not sure what it is now, it's not really recognizable unfortunately. It may never see the light of day again, but it reminds me of good days.
I don't have one, but I wanted to share one that my friend has. She has 2 kids - Matthew and Andrew. She found a tattoo that says Matthew if you look at it one way and Andrew if you look at it the other way. It's on her foot. Since this is a multiples board, I thought some of the twin moms might love this idea!!
I have an ivy chain around my left ankle and two stars on the inside of my right ankle. I've been thinking about getting my zodiac sign on my wrist (really small) for years. Now that I share the same sign with the twins, I might actually do it.
My first was a shooting star on my left hip.... we shall see what it is once I am done growing these babies
My second is the Armenian cross with pink memorial flowers on my lower back ( I will not call it a tramp stamp because it goes up and down not side to side! LOL )
And my third is an outline of a star with two little ones around it on my left foot.
My next tattoo will be the tree of life with the boys birthday in the roots... DH and I will be getting the same thing mine will be on the upper part of my back... not sure where DH is getting his.
When we were married, DH and I got the same tatoo (symbol for ETERNITY). He got his on the back of his neck, I got mine on my lower back ( I have never heard of "tramp stamp" before....it's small so I really don't care).
I want to get something with the girls names in it...I like the wrist tatts!
I'm a proud member of the tramp stamp club! Lol. Mine is an A copied from a book of Shakespeare - you know, the fancy letters that start a new scene/chapter?
The A is for my maiden name - and then our firstborn ended up an A name, so I tell her it is for her, too.
I never got a tat - b/c I knew that nothing i could ever pick would be something I'd love years later. I could now see getting something with my children's names - b/c that's the only thing I KNOW will last forever no matter what... but i'm not big on things that are permanent. I have a naval piercing instesd- which I love
I have a cross w/ a rose vine wrapped around it on my lower back and a ribbon (w/ name & dates) on my right foot in memory of my friend who passed away from cancer.

Mine is the Chinese symbol for Strength. Or it could be the word for Kung Pao Chicken. Who really knows.....
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! I've always thought that about those Chinese characters; no one but the Chinese really knows what it "means", unless you speak Chinese, of course, LOL!
I have a moon with purple haze and stars on my back, but it's not in the traditional tramp stamp spot; it's off to the side, where my waist cinches in. I love it but wish I could see it. I have wanted another one for forever, somewhere where I could actually see it and enjoy it.
I also have always wanted my nose pierced, just the tiniest thin little ring, but DH said I'd look "too butch" if I did that and he hates the idea of it, which makes me sad... I guess it's for the best since I'm always sneezing and boogery with all my allergies.
I REALLY want to get one. I call the babies my baby birds so I was thinking of getting a little pink and blue bird for the babies. Who knows if I'll ever bite the bullet and do it though.
I have a little butterfly on my right ankle. I forget that it's there though and when I catch a glimpse of it, I tend to freak a little. I have thought about getting something else for the girls, but eh. I think this one might be it.
I have a tramp stamp too. It's a scrollwork peace dove.

I have 2. I have one on my lower stomach (below the waist band) of a fairy and I have one (ha a "tramp stamp") on my lower back of dh and my zodiac sign with a small tribal band around it. I want to get one more (now I'm thinking of up on my "hump" with all 3 kids footprints (like Hislobster's) from their certificate thing we got from the hospital. I think I would like to do one for my Grandma that passed away too but I don't know where I would put that or what I would do.
I am that girl with a HORROR story about my tattoo.
On my 18th birthday, I went to get a tattoo thinking I was SO COOL. I wanted a delicate little fairy on my lower back (It wasn't called tramp stamp then, but now the word takes on a whole new meaning...keep reading)
The A hole showed me the tattoo when he was done and I told him I liked it, then he "added a little bit of shading" and put the ointment on it and covered it up. It was not until after I got home that I took the bandage off and realized he had "shaded in" crotch hair, and a nipple on my innocent fairy! Now she really is a tramp stamp!
::Hanging my head in shame:: Well, If you read my most embarrassing moments post, you will realize, I have no more shame.
I have one but I usually forget it's there since I can't see it. My sister and I have matching ones on our lower backs. It's three intersecting waves making a circle, one for each of our siblings. I got it when I was 18.

Yup. It's a "tramp stamp". But I didn't know there was such a thing when I got it done 11 years ago! And it's pretty typical. A butterfly scrollwork thing. Every time my husband hears "Ticks" by Brad Paisley he laughs.

I am embarrased to say I have a tramp stamp. Trying to show my independence...ugh how cliche.
It is very small and you can't see it even with the tiniest t-back on. I wouldn't mind getting rid of it though.
Me too! Mine is the Chinese symbol for Strength. Or it could be the word for Kung Pao Chicken. Who really knows.....
