Thickening breast milk?

David is having issues with acid reflux.  We have changed his formula, we are supplementing, three times already and it seems Similac RS is working the best BUT whenever I give the babies breast milk, David has such a hard time with it.  He arches his back in pain and more often then not, projectile vomits it all over.  I heard of some people using thickeners for this issue.  Has anyone on here used it, or know anything about it?

we thickened with oatmeal and still do. i think we started that at 2.5 months though. most of my doctors tell us that the meds work better than the actual thickening, but they all have different opinions. my girls do very well on zantac.

 i hope you figure out a solution. my girls would cry during their bottles so sad.
