scheduled baseline follicle study (warning tmi)

I think that today is day 1 of my cycle.  I have been having spotting for a few days (very normal for me.)  Starting yesterday, when I would wipe, I had red blood, and a fair amount.  I never had much on my pad though.  Today I have had more blood, but not enough to saturate the pad.  Is this still day 1?  My appointment is tomorrow.  Do you think I should reschedule?

Sorry if this is tmi.

  • LOL!  Hon, we have all been through childbirth in some way shape or form.  Nothing is TMI around hereBig Smile

I would keep your appointment.  I have had AF that is heavy enough to soak through a pad in an hour for days and other's ( mainly on BC ) where I have only had brown spotting.  In fact my last AF off BC before my last treatment cycle was only 3 days of brown spotting.  It felt like a waste even using any products for it there was that little.  Just let them know that although it's been around it hasn't been heavy.

  • Thanks for the advice. I put a call into the clinic and am waiting for a nurse to call.  I hope that I can keep the appointment.  I'm anxious to get this whole process started.

*By the way, this board is a real bright spot in this whole experience.  I appreciate everyone's advice and their kind words so much!

  • I would call your doc and see what he says.  I have had to have this issue on my Clomid start date and so I called my doc and he told me his preference.
