DH is absolutely no help on names

Seriously I will suggest a name and all I get is a "hmm" or "hmmph" or "I like the name but I wouldn't name our child that." yadda yadda yadda. SERIOUSLY!?!?!?! Some help here please!!! What in the world is he waiting for?  This is driving me nuts.  We've always always had a good solid list of names for both our previous pregnancies.  It just helps me feel more stable about everything but without that I feel a bit loss.  Names help me to feel like its real.  I am having a hard time connecting completely with the pregnancy this time around and I don't feel like he is helping at all.  Ugh just totally frustrated and venting.  Husbands can be such a pain sometimes LOL.

Mine is a pain about names too. He doesn't like any of the names I bring up but yet does not offer any names. I told him I will just name the baby whatever I want, he gets the last name lol.

I am totally in the same boat as you!! We've had our girls name picked out for 5 years but we cannot agree on a boys name! Its so frustrating! If we have a boy he DH has informed me that the middle name will be his grandfathers middle name (some tradition they have) and he will obviously have his last name....tonight we went to barnes & noble and thumbed through some name books and actually agreed on a couple!! good luck! its so annoying!

My DH didn't play the name game with me until 20w (just recently).  I had to explain to him why having a name really helped me (especially considering our previous losses).  He still wouldn't even give me the "hmmm" until we got the 100% on the sex of the baby.
