No sex drive?

Umm..yeah...I have no interest in sex.  We were on such a strict timed intercourse thing with my fertility issues and now, with the bloat and fatigue...I am not interested whatsoever. DH is understanding....I hope it returns soon.

I have none and FI is horny 24/7 it feels like. He said pregnant women were super attractive to him and I was super hot and I keep saying no...

I feel bad because of it... I swear my FI whines like a lil baby (he thinks I can't hear him) so hopefully I can get back in the mood.

I have not been in the mood at all either. I finally shook that this morning with some...eh...coerseion from the Mr.

It made me wonder...when I was on bcps, I had no sex drive. When I was off, it was back with a vengence. Now that I'm knocked up, it's gone again.

Are some of the horomones in bcps the same as ones your body produces when you're pregnant? Maybe that's a dumb question.

My sex drive was fine when I was on BCP, but it's not been great with this pregnancy. I've had a lot of spotting issues, so per the doctor we weren't supposed to have sex while that was going on, and even though it's stopped, sex is still just kind of nerve-wracking for me. Plus I'm tired all the time!

A diminished sex drive is a known side effect of most hormonal contraceptives since they work but tricking your body into thinking it's pregnant so that you won't actually ovulate. 

 

I hear you on that not wanting sex thing though. Before the BFP I thought I just wasn't interested, so it was nice to see I have an excuse

Hey all!  I have the same issues too.  My DH and I actually haven't had sex since we found out I was PG (almost a month).  We actually had sex tonight but it was not comfortable or enjoyable for me (or for him).  DH is totally understanding and I just feel so nauseas all the time that sex is usually the last thing on my mind!

It will get better once the nausea and bloat passes... I am all ready but my FI has been on deployment for the last month. Looking forward to Easter when he gets back!

I felt the same up until about a week ago or so.  I just felt SO sick, nauseous, bloated, and just plain awful.  Now that I feel better the sex drive has returned with full force!
