We got a wonderful surprise from family--A week in Hilton Head in September--

Please recommend food, beach, shopping, spa~I am treating myself to this, entertainment, golf, and anything else anyone can think of, thanks in advance.

My dd's godmother lives on Hilton Head and dh and I got engaged on Dolphin Head when we were visiting other friends in Bluffton, so HHI is one of my FAVORITE places in the world.

CQ's in Harbor Town is a great place to eat, so is Olde Fort Pub.

There is an outlet mall there, just over the bridge before you get to Hilton Head in Bluffton. Just remember that because something is in an outlet does NOT mean its at a good price.

If you're at a resort, it will (probably) have its own beach.

You should also know that SC in September is still EXTREMELY hot and humid.

Also, unless you're used to tanning, always wear sunscreen on the beach.

We always stay in Sea Pines in a condo in the South Beach area, which we really like because you can walk to the beach and a group of resteraunts. We like to eat at Salty Dog and Hudson's.
