Please tell me what I will need to CD my NB's butt! I am so confused. I want to buy OS but I don't think that will work in the NB stage. So help a gal out. I feel like I need to figure this out and start stocking up. Thanks!
Same as Army... we had 2 dozen prefolds, 5 KL0s and 3 xs fab fitteds with 3 xs thirsties covers and 1 imse vimse newborn organic cover.
Now that DS has gained some weight we are using a few small BG AIOs, small HHs and larger (yellow edged) prefolds but I am slowly building my stash of OS diapers (3 OS BG AIOs & 2 B4s).
Its nice to try a few different styles so I can find out whats best for my baby.

i used AIOs. ?we had a combo of BG, BB and Thirsties. ?the Thirsties didn't fit him that well in the NB stage. ?I have since found (and love) Nana's Bottoms. I think these would work PERFECTLY in the NB period. THey are very trim. if you buy multiples, she gives you a discount and they are very reasonably priced. ?
i think the AIO is a great option for the NB period b/c they are so similar to disposables. there is minimal learning curve which is great for the lack o' sleep new parent have. ?
After seeking lots of opinions, we decided to go with a newborn rental to save $$ (since we have no idea how big/little this kid will be). ?By far, the best deal seemed to be Nell's Natural Baby; we chose the KL 0 package. ?All I had to buy were some newborn covers, plus I supplemented with a dozen prefolds and a pack of snappies.
