We had a courthouse wedding too, but we still had our pics professionally done at a nice park we both enjoyed.  It was about $200 I believe.

Same here, unfortunately.  My church pictures are yellow and none of the shots are classic wedding shots.  We had a friend taking pictures too, but the photographer actually threatened to walk out on the wedding if we didn't have our friend back off.  

Now, we regret not letting him walk out.  The few pics or friend took are leaps and bounds better than the 'professionals'... ugh!

I hope every woman feels beautiful on her wedding day.  Having a good photographer was priority for us.  For the most part I was really happy with our pictures.  It is really hard to compare to others though.  I always find myself saying, "Wow, I wish we would have done that".
