how did you transistion to toddler bed?

I'm not ready but ds is throwing his leg over when he is upset. I want to make the chaneg to a big boy room and a big boy bed at one time (maybe when I am pg) so we might just do the toddler bed for now. My crib converts to one.

I have no idea how to do this and am very nervous!! I don't want to ruin a good/independent sleeper. I worry he'll be up all night in his room!

We tried to convert our crib into the toddler bed, but he would move around so much that he would wake up A LOT since there was no bumper on one side to stop him.  I jsut don't think he was comfortable in a bed that small. We finally just got a regular bed for him at 2 years, and have had no problems.  He loves it, can move all over the place and has never rolled off.  Plus, he can use it for years to come.  Good luck!
