in Disney World seemed to be named Isabella, Bella or Emma....
Very popular names! Anyone have those names picked out?

I don't have any names picked out as I am not pregnant...I can't do it til I am!! I wouldn't look at wedding dresses or think of my wedding til I was engaged. However, my MIL passed away 3 years ago (we had been married for 3 years) and before she died I talked to MIL about names and Emma was her favorite. I would love to name a baby girl Emma for that reason alone.
DH and I talked about Isabella, but that hadn't stuck with us. I do have a cousin nammed Emma. So far, DH says Jude for a boy and Haley for a girl. If we ever have a 2nd boy, he might be named Cody.

Isabella was my number one pick and goes perfectly with our last name but I'm dissapointed that its so popular so I don't know if that will be it anymore.

I must admit...although I think they are very pretty names, I don't think I would use them just because they are so popular. Good thing they aren't my favs!

I think they are pretty names but I want to stay clear or names that might be extremely popular. I teach and have like 4 Jasmine's in one class. I wouldn't want to pick names that are totally out there either. Of course, if my dh and I loved a certain name we would go with it regardless of popularity.
Isabelle is my confirmation name . . . I used to want to use that name (like 15 years ago) . . . but now that it is so popular, I'd have to pass. Plus one of my friends named her daughter Isabella and she goes by Bella. So another reason to pass. I want a name that not everyone has . . . something differant (but not weird).

My dog's name is Bella....does that count?
Actually....so is mine

So far we are leaning towards Katelyn Jean and Brayden Cole. We actually talked about Emma but it didn't pass the test.
I think those names are beautiful! I hope all is well.. email me sometime
I liked Emma for my phantom daughter for a while but we decided on Rayleigh Elaine. No decisions for a boy yet but there is plenty of time since I'm not even KU lol

I teach kindergarten and 1st grade students and I come across way too many children by that name. Each classroom has at least 2. It's crazy! I am also very picky about using spellings that are simple. You wouldn't believe some of the spellings that come through and how frustrated the children (and teachers) get when trying to spell the names. You never know if you're going to get it right when someone says their name. I just feel sorry for kids when their name becomes a burden to learn. It may look cute but think about it through the eyes of a 5 year old.
Cute names, but too common.. I know someone with a dog named Bella too. We're leaning towards Drew Noelle for a girl.. now if I can only get KU so we can possibly use it.

My greatgrandmother's name was Emma and my mom almost named me Emma, so it's been one of my favorites for a long time. Plus, we're not too worried about the popularity factor. DH and BIL's names were second and third most popular when they were born. Having such a common name was a little annoying in grade school but not problem any more
Nope, our cat's name is Bella. So far our top choices for girls are Elizabeth Joan (our mother's middle names) or Olivia Grace (which we LOVE but again, super common these days).
Nope. I'm not a fan of Emma, Emily, Emmy....anything of that sort because it's *way* too popular. I'm sure Isabella/Bella will only become more common due to the Twilight series.... We aren't big fans of the really popular names. I don't want my child going to kindergarten with 6 of the same name in his or her class.

IMO, if it's my fave name choice, no way I'm dumping it because other people are using that name.

Ahm, that sure does. LOL. Of course, you want names you both agree on, so no worries!
We're using the name Emma.
