WHY does he always want my food?

You can put an entire smorgasbord in front of Kyle and often he will take a bite or two and say, "May I be excused?"  However, the moment I dare take a bite of something or a drink, he is all over me for it.  And, it's not like my options are more exciting.  Today it was a Matzo cracker he couldn't live without while I was eating it.  Sometimes I think it would be easier to prepare HIS meal and then attempt to eat it so he'll want it instead
