I hate my cable!!!

I watched ER for 12 years but stopped watching it about 3 years ago.  I really wanted to watch the pre-show special and the finale.  Yeah, not going to happen.  My cable will only let me watch the TV guide channel due to weather issues in Nashville which is an hour away!!!

I can't figure out for the life of me... why weather issues and tvguide channel go hand in hand... GRRRRRRR
