OMG!

My step-brother just called me and he was fuming mad!  He has lived in his house for over 4 years with no problems or issues.  His next door neighbor is an 80 something sweet little old lady.  She has been nothing but nice to my SB and his 2 kids (7 year old boy and 4 year old girl).  This weekend, his neighbor came over and told him that her son was moving in with her and he just got out of prision for his SECOND offense of sexually assulting little boys.  The man is in his 60's.  My SB had very large shrubs in his back yard that were like a fence, and you really couldnt see through them.  Monday afternoon when he came home from work, he discovered the man had cut the shrubs down to the ground!  Now, the next door neighbor can see everything in his back yard.  Well, last night the kids were in the back yard playing and the man was sitting in a chair, staring at the kids.  My SB was there with them.  His phone rang while they were outside playing, and once he answered the phone, the old man started calling the 7 year old over to him, thinking my SB wasnt paying attention.  My SB heard him and threw his phone down, and rushed over and all but beat the s*it out of this old man.  Thankfully he didnt since his kids were there, but I know if the kids were not there....he would be in jail right now.  My SB is upset because he is not allowed to be at his mothers house when there are kids there...he has to leave.  But, nothing is being done about my SBs kids who live less than 50 feet away.  The cop have been called and they said that they cant do anything b/c his drivers license says he lives at a different house.  But, he gets mail at his mothers house, he sleeps, eats, and is at his mothers house all day every day.  Needless to say, my SB listed his home for sale today.  I am so upset that he has to go through this.  And the poor kids dont really understand why they are not allowed to talk to this man...they say he looks just like Grandpa (wrinkles, gray hair glasses etc), and Grandpa is nice so why is this guy not nice?  It is sad.  I hope to (insert what/who ever you worship here) that I never have to deal with a situation like this!

I can't believe the guy cut the shrubs down!  What a jerk (among other things the nest would censor)!  I feel so bad for your brother and could write a tangent so I'll just hit post.

I guess I forgot that in my inital post!  He is in the process of having one of those white vinyl fences put up!  He wants to make sure this perv cant peek through the slats in a wodden fence.  BTW...the second time this guy got caught, it was by Chris Hansen and that how to catch a preditor series. I cringe every time I think about it!

She wanted to give him a heads up.  She actually said "since I like you and your kids, I thought I would let you know......"

I would hate to think what would have happened if she DIDNT like them!
