Really nervous

My doctor called yesterday to say that my HCG levels weren't rising as quickly as she'd like to see them. They were rising though so that's good. But she's having me go in today for a sonogram. I'm just nervous. I hope everythings ok. I don't know what it would mean if the levels weren't rising quickly enough. I was joking with my husband that it's just a procrastinator like his side of the family. I could see he's worried too. Has anyone else had this or heard of this?
