how fast did you get pg with 2nd baby?

It took me a year to ovulate again after ds was born but I got pg first cycle that I o'd.

ETA: DS is 3 and 1/2. We started trying just before his second birthday. He'll be 4 when this baby is born (hopefully!)

If we go for a #2... I will stop BF around 3-5 months and go from there.  Once I have a cycle, I will be back at the RE for IUI#1 again.

DD was turning one in February so we decided we would start trying in January. We got pregnant that month.

DD was EBF too, but I had AF for at least 3 months regularly. So I marked the day I started and pretty much had sex every other day, sometimes everyday (sorry TMI) and lo and behold... #2 is on his/her way.

4mo post partum to get period---then after that 15mo of no birth control before I finally got pg again...so over a year.

well...ds is 10 months old right now...and we weren't trying, so I guess it happened fast lol

It took several months with ds#1 and with baby#2 I got my first pp period in January, 14 days later we went to Mexico and I came back pregnant.  Not very long at all!!!

DD - took 4 cycles to get pregnant
Second pregnancy - 3 cycles (ended in m/c)
Third pregnancy - 2 cycles (ended in m/c)
DS - took 1 cycle

This baby - we weren't even trying.  I told DH he isn't even allowed to look at me anymore!

DS is 10 months old now. We weren't trying but we weren't preventing either. I am still BF'ing DS but AF returned for 3 cycles before I got pregnant this time.

As far as I know it happened during the second cycle after having DD... we were trying but I wasn't keeping religious track of things... I'm pretty sure I'm right though.

 

EDIT: I got PG while EBF... still are with some solids from time to time.

We had to wait 5 momths for me to ovulate but after that it only took 2 months.

we were going to start trying when DD was 1 but decided to let things happen as they happen and we got pg when she was 10 months old. So, really i got pg the first time we didn't prevent it this time.

First cycle not trying but not preventing.

I BF DD for 9 months, got AF back at 10 months PP, had 2 periods and then BFP. We were planning to start actively TTC in May but figured if it happened earlier, great! We only had sex once in my fertile time and that's all it takes! It was a little bit of a surprise that it happened so quickly because it took 5 months of actively TTC (charting, OPKs, Preseed...) to get PG w/ DD.

With DD I got pregnant the first time doing anything and with this one I got pregnant on my first cycle off of birth control pills.

With DS it took 3 years and fertility specialts.....bebe #2....took 7 months of not trying but not preventing......I guess sometimes you do seem more fertile after you've had one LOL!

I had AF back at 8 weeks despite BF'ing (I actually still am attempting to despite a crappy supply).

I went on birth control pills 6 weeks after I had Ava, went off of them in February and got my BFP March 5th! I got lucky.

Wanted to wait until DS was a year old.  He was born in February so we started trying February, found out March 13th we were pregnant.

We were off BC for 3 months planning on "trying" in March (we were using condoms). Well, we had an ooops moment on Valentines (thought I ovulated a week earlier) and sure enough we got Pregnant in Febuary. So I would say it happened fast!!

Same as this poster. ?I Bf'd DS until a little over 12 months, and tested with OPK's but wasn't ovulating. As soon as I stopped BF'ing we tried the next cycle and got pg. m/c that one, then a few weeks later, here I am again. Very happy to be here too!

It took us I think 5 or 6 months and it ended in m/c. Then it took us another 7 months to get pregnant again.
