Getting the local board going and planning a get together

in an effort to get more traffic to our local board, please add the clicky graphic to your signature by adding this text: (It's worked for dallas, the OC and even Eco friendly family)

AND lets plan a first official get together of this board combining expecting moms, 0-6, 6-12 and 12+.

I was thinking the weekend of April 25/26. Not sure which date was better.

Some ideas were Como zoo if nice, Eagle's nest if bad weather and doing a pot luck.

Meeting at a mall with a play area.

If you have any ideas, please post them and we can pick one and go from there.

I would so Love to be part of this BUT....... My Son is Due on the 25th so I guess that means I am out unless he comes really soon (oh lets hope not) or if he is late & I need to get out of the house Smile But I so would love to meet all of you

I haven't been to a GTG yet, but I'd like to meet more mommies. oh, and I might add... I am pretty mentally stable thankyouverymuch... Except for when AF comes, I get a little crabby

I dont think the mentally unstable St. Cloud chicks will be coming for this one. Don't worry.

And GTGs aren't as scary as they seem. People relax fast...walking up to the group is the hardest part. It's easy from there. It's kinda like getting nervous for a blind date.

We could also not to a potluck, and do a byol(bring your own lunch) to keep it simple.

We went to the Eagle's nest this last Sunday and it was pretty fun.

I have not been to a GTG yet and I don't think I will be able to make April due to some out of town guests on my hubby's side of the family. I will try adn pop on the board more though and make a future one. Do you guys ever do GTG's at night, wihtout the kids? I would love a Mom's Night out! Also, when you do bring kids, what is the age range that is typically there. My girls are 1 and 2y9 1/2 m?

My due date is April 22nd, but I am measuring a little ahead so I hope I can bring a little one with me, otherwise I will be walking around with Mrs.Payne trying to get our babies to come. One of my friends just had her little girl last night so I will get her to come as well.
