Do you think letting my 9 month old suck on a pickle is terrible? My cousin was like, WHOOAHH. You do what! Now it has me worried?

Oh, and I let her suck an a cheeto puff?

What do you give your little one? Are these really bad! What am I missing?

Pickles are fine.  I wouldn't let your LO have too much just because it may give an upset stomach.  My DD loves pickles.  Cheeto puffs is a different story. Try cheerios, baby crackers, baby cookies, puffs, lil' crunchies, yogurt melts, etc.

Oh PUH-LEASE!!! She needs to chill! DD is just now 9 months and has pickels loads of times. Bff's DS used to suck on pickles all the time in his mesh feeder when he was like 6 months old! Your fine, just roll your eyes at her and feed that baby a yummy pickle!

IMO, yes, it's horrible!  But, that's only because I hate pickles

I"m pretty relaxed.  I don't remember exactly when I gave the cheeto puffs to DD but I feel like it was 8-9 mo.  Yeah, they aren't great for her but if you give then to her occasionally I don't think it's a problem.

Try Lil Crunchies instead of Cheetos.  They're better for baby.  Almost 0 nutritional value, but it's better than the junk in regular cheetos.
