Good Morning! All is well here, I am still off owrk but feeling great & looking forward to my ultrasound next week to see if my placenta has moved at all.
Monday QOTD: As of my 17 wk appt I had not gained any weight, I feel I have since then but don't owna scale so don't know for sure, I guess I will find out next week!
Wed QOTD: Red! I love Red starburtsts, pink is my 2nd fav!
Heuston! We have a heartbeat!!! I took DS#2 to the Dr's this morning for his final baby shot and mentioned to the Dr that I hadn't felt the baby kick yet and that my M/S had nearly disappeared (I felt kicking at 13+15 weeks with my last 2 and had M/S all day every day for 9 months!!) So he said thatt he'd check the heartbeat. It took him a while and he looked worried...which in turn got me all worried, but he eventually found it and said it sounded good!! AWESOME! He says I may not be as far along as we think. I'll find out at the end of the month when I get my big U/S. I'm so happy the baby is ok though!!

My DH finally felt the baby kick last night! I could feel her kicking like crazy, so I lifted up my shirt to see if I could see it from the outside. I could see it from the outside so he put his hands on my belly and she kicked him hard! It was amazing
He was really excited!

I haven't been feeling much kicking- I actually felt a lot of kicking right after my u/s but not too much since then. ?I think he was real mad after the u/s. ?
Red is my fav starburst, pink is my least fav. ?I hadn't had them in years even though I love them, I'm afraid they while pull a filling out.?
Mon QOD--I've gained about 25 lbs! Honestly, I'm sure half of that was due to my underactive thyroid! I gained 15 lbs in one month and then I was sent to a specialist and had to adjust my medication. Since then, my weight has been under control, more or less!
My favorite Starburst is pink! Which is quite appropriate because we had our big ultrasound on Saturday and found out that we're expecting a girl!!! I was so surprised--I was CONVINCED this bebe was a boy! We're so thrilled! So please add me to team pink! And everything else seemed to look good too!

I have my big U/S on Friday and am never going to make it through the next 2 days - I'm so excited!

As of last appointment, 15 weeks, I hadnt gained anything from pre preg weight. I had gained 2 lbs since week 11, but I had lost 4 lbs, so I was still down 2. Im SURE that has changed ... Ive been a human garbage disposal lately!

All is well with me and baby. He is moving around like a maniac lately. I have started to call him Taz (as in Tasmanian devil).

Only 11 days to go until Lent is over and I can have candy again! I think I enjoy torturing myself...I bought a bag of M & M's for the house...and I bought jelly beans to put in our cute jelly bean holder....I swear they are calling to me every night! I just want a Cadbury Creme Egg and the Swedish Fish someone gave to me as a present that are sitting in the kitchen drawer.....and the Gertrude hawk caramel candies my mom bought for me that are sitting on the counter......
Fav starbursts have to be pink although I do love them them all! I'm also with Jenny3 up there, the jelly beans are delicious as well.
Nothing too new going on my way, my LO is just partying away in my uterus. I swear he/she is going to be a gymnast or something!
Sorry for not being around much lately. DH had surgery to remove the last of his herniated disc. He's recovering well and so far, no more pain in his leg. Fingers crossed

Good Morning! It's my DD's 4th birthday today - exciting but bittersweet. We got her a Disney Fairy two-wheel bike and she is beyond thrilled. So cute - riding up and down the sidewalk at 7:15 AM. I have my 20 week appointment today. I am not expecting anything exciting to happen today. I feel the baby more and more and I'm pretty sure I'm feeling hiccups already too. My DS had them ALL the time when I was pregnant and then ended up having TONS of GI issues, hoping that's not the case this time.

Next Wednesday is Big US round 2, where we will hopefully get cooperation and find out the baby's sex! Other than that no news, baby is very busy feeling lots of movement. DH hasn't felt it yet.
Good morning, everybody! Hope you're all doing well... I think I'm coming down with a cold and feel pretty crappy. Hopefully I'll be better by the weekend for my two-days-early birthday dinner with my hubby.
As for Starburst... it's been so long since I've had one, I don't remember. I'd probably like the lemon flavored one since I've been craving lemon. But that's just a guess.

Good morning ladies! All is well here. The baby is so active now I love feeling him, he still will not let DH feel him move though. Everytime he starts up DH comes over and he stops. We are getting a little closer to finding a name. We are down to two choices.
My favorite starburst are the yellow or orange ones.

yesterday we had another ultrasound and it was insightful into knowing what the baby is doing that is causing my discomfort. Baby Sam has super long legs which kick a lot, and I think its his knees that keep rubbing that nerve spot that gives me lightning crotch. last night around 2am I woke up and realized Sam was switching positions - instead of his head on my right side of my belly, he did the full somersault to the left side. The u/s was because they had incomplete pictures and results from the march 4 u/s. was a treat to see Sam again and got a clearer view of his penis and balls... two confirmations that he's a boy makes me more reassured that when he arrives in the big world it won't be a surprise.
QOTD: don't really eat starburst enough to have a favourite flavour or color. With any candy, I don't like melon flavour... usually choose strawberry or lime flavours.
Monday QOTD: How much weight have you gained? I have actually lost weight, but I was really sick. I lost 25lbs total, but have put about 15lbs back on in the last 3 weeks
Monday: At the last appt, I had only gained 6 pounds, after losing 5 from food aversions. Didn't really have much morning sickness, it was just really hard for me to figure out what I wanted to eat.
Wednesday: The red and pink ones definitely!
I love mixing the pink and orange together!! Yum! Might have to get some on my way to work now!!

I had my big ultrasound on Monday and everything went really well. ?We got a good 3D image of the baby's face (it looks a lot like its Daddy) and everything else looks perfect. ?Baby is exactly the right size for its age and weighs 13 ounces (which, as you know, is nearly a pound, but not quite ? so where did those other 9 pounds I put on come from? LOL). ?Some of our friends and family have guessed from the image of the face that it's a boy, but DH and I still know it could go either way. ?After all, his brother's daughter is the spitting image of her father, but she's all girl!

havent been on much this week- my study is finally up and running so been hectic at work~
i have gained about 20 lbs already
and my fav starbursts are red and orange~ i will eat them all but these i save for last! and yes..i hate jelly beans but the starburst ones are the best!
LO is doing well- she is moving everyday now- basically after i eat for couple hrs on and off~ we are thinking of names currently and going w/ an italian background (so far have isabella, sophia, gabriella, and guilianna)
I love the red ones too! Only 3 more days until the 1/2 way point.
We just bought a new car. Which is very exciting because now we have a "family" car. It's a Kia Sorento - I love it. I've never had a car that you didn't sit on the ground, so in the Kia I feel like I'm flying, it's crazy. One big purchase down, one to go. Hoping to get our house in May!
