Last year's April Fool's joke attempt on DH
A year ago today, our first nephew was born. (happy bday baby b!) I was so in love with him and excited that he was here but had ZERO interest in having any more babies. DH knew this. And we'd agreed on no more kids.
The next day (April 1st), I said, "You know, holding the new baby really got me thinking... I think I miss having a newborn. I want to do it again. I want another baby!" I thought this might seem believable with the baby just being born. I thought DH would freak out!!
Instead, he said, "Yeah, I've been thinking about that, too. Maybe we should have one more."
Whaaat? I was caught so off guard and didn't have the heart to tell him it was all a joke.
Well, a year later you all see where we are! I never personally told him but months later, SIL (who knew about the joke from day 1) slipped and said something. But by then... I was already pregnant!
