XP: Paragard?

Anyone have any bad side effects from this? my doc sent me a bunch of brochures on different BC's, and this is the only one that looks appealing.

    The worst part is the few days of mild cramping and spotting after...other than that it is freeing and fun! Easy to put in!

    I had a paraguard beforeTTC and I'l going to get a Mirena this time around.

    Pros:  It is awesome being free from hormones and not having to remember anything.

    Cons:  Killer cramps, but nothing that Ibuprofen didn't fix.  If I forgot to take my Ibuprofen though...

    I got Mirena put in yesterday, it's awesome! It was uncomfortable getting put in but not bad at all. Plus the fact I don't have to remember to take a pill makes it all worth it.
