pregnancy induced hypertension

If you had PIH, how long did you blood pressure stay up after delivery?  Mine went down immediately after giving birth, but within 3 days, it was back up again.  Just wondering what your experiences were.

I had pp pre-eclampsia and was sent home with bp medication. My bp was back to normal by my 6 week check up. My OB said your bp can go down a week after, a few months after or never - it varies.

i was still on medication up until today's dr's appt, so I don't really know if it naturally went down before then.

mine was down after birth then jumped really high when I went off meds. I've slowly been weaning myself off labetalol since giving birth. I'm down to taking 100mg once a day and I'm at 120/80 but I don't stop taking unless my bp gets low before I see the dr again.

i have gone from 2 bp meds to 1 since delivery but i am still considered hypertensive. its a lot better though and haven't had any symptoms (blurry vision, seeing sparkles, headaches). had 2 bp checks at the doc since then.
