3 diapers per change

DD seems to pee or poop two maybe three times during a diaper change.  Usually it's halfway through and then again midway through.  On average, we're going through 3 diapers per change.  It's insane.   We usually wait 15-20 minutes after she eats to give it time to go through her but we never seem to wait long enough, and I don't want her to wait too long since I don't want to wake her to change her diaper. 

Any suggestions to prevent this?

    give it time.  ds doesn't pee on me nearly as much as he used to.

    yeah, wait 5-10 mins after you hear/feel her poop. THEN change. le duh.

    FWIW it does stop being quite so frequent soon.

    We are going through the EXACT same thing right now.  We went through 25 diapers yesterday.  It's gotta get better soon!

    Like pp's said.. it gets better as they get older. DD used to do this ALL the time - mostly with DH because he wasn't as "efficient" with diaper changes
