Bumpers and sleigh crib...

If you have a sleigh crib, what did you do about the sides that do not have slats and the bumper?  We are going back and forth between a sleigh-style crib and a regular style crib, but are concerned about the bumper not tying tight to the solid sides.

Was it a big problem for you?

I took the bumpers off when the night before the kids came home from the hospital.. sorry safety first.

My grandmother put some fabric at the ends of the ties so it would tie,  but I removed the bumpers that came with my set and got breathable ones before dd went in her crib.
