update on Michelle's Pedi appt.

Michelle's lungs & ears are clear thank god but she does have a sinus infection and tonsilitis (sp) her throat was pretty red and tested negative for strep. They put her on zithromax. The pedi does not want Michelle taking any form of amoxicillan or pennicillan related antibiotics. We can not be sure what cause her vasculitis ( amox. or the virus ). When she is 10 yrs old she will have the allergy test done. If its negative then she can have amox. again.

Is she allergic to pennicilin?  I am, and they gave me zithromax.

Are you the nestie who's daughter broke out in a rash after taking amox.? I'm jus wondering because my son has a terrible whole body rash, but the Pedi. isn't concerned - I am. What did your daughter's rash look like?

Hope it helps her. Poor girl (and mom) she seems like there is always something!
