stopping oral terb - a few questions

I posted this over on multiples but thought maybe some of you may have some input.

My dr is going to stop the terb next monday (36.2 wks) and he seems pretty convinced that I will go into labor shortly after that.  I still contrax on the meds and every now and then and they are getting pretty strong and sometimes they create a pattern but then again I can go a whole day with no more than one or two - no biggie.

If you were on oral terb how soon after you stopped did you go into labor?  Did you break through the terb or did you stop bc you were far enough along?

When my doc took me off he told me he expected me to go into labor quickly b/c I had continued to contract on the meds...he induced me at 39w5d

WELL my situation is MUCH different than yours...I had PROM and was in the hospital waiting out my situation and my peri (well his partner) told me to stop my terb, so I did...labor started for me about 16 hours later. My peri told me 4 days later when he came to see me (while I was still in the hospital) that he wished I'd stayed on it for at least another day or so.

BUT you never know!

I'm curious about this too....I will be stopping procardia between 36 and 37 weeks and I'm wondering how long it will take to go into labor.  I still have contractions on the meds too and the past week they are getting more intense, but not really in any kind of pattern.
