DS starts daycare next week and I don't really have a freezer stash of BM. I'm thinking of sending a can of formula to daycare just in case he doesn't have enough BM one day. There are so many to choose from. I don't know where to begin.
We use Good Start, but started with Similac. Our pedi said most of the big name brands are good. A lot of us had to do trial and error until we found one that worked.
You're lucky you can send a can. We have to send prepared bottles. I BF/pump, but like you I don't have a freezer stash. I end up mixing bottles of BM and formula, and we use the Target brand.
We use Similac. She was on soy, but we recently switched her to a milk-based version. We're happy with it, but I've also heard good things about Nestle Good Start. You might want to try out some on your ds beforehand - just to see how he responds to certain types.

We use Enfamil Gentlease. We have tried others and have had problems...like Enfamil Lipil, Good Start, and Kirkland brand. The Gentlease works best...you may have to try more than one.
