If you are doing/did the 30 Day Shred..question

How long did you stay on each level??

Until:

1. You mastered every move in the level, w 5lb weights?

2. Your form and recovery was pretty good and you were ready for a new routine, even if you didn't perfect each move on level 1 (like, I might never move on if I wait to be able to do the pushups the "right" way). ?

?I am having a pretty easy time with Level 1 now (relatively speaking--I still want to die, but only a tiny bit) , with 3lb weights, but I am so scare of Level 2. ??

  • Pretty much after 10 days. But I only did it with 3 pounders!!

Until I am not tired after doing the current level. The first time I did it I moved up after like 10 days. Then I took some time off and just re-started it and I moved up to level 2 after 4 days. And I hate level 3, it is too much jumping and hard on my knees. So I just stick with level 2 and use heaver weights when I am ready for something more difficult.
  • I changed levels every 10 days, but I felt like by day 5-6 I wasn't breathing nearly as hard nor was I as sore. I however didn't do push ups the "right way either.

In level 2 I will tell you that there are walk-out push ups which were surprisingly easy to do the "right way" because you aren't going up and down consecutively.  Sorry that is hard to explain, but once you see it you will get it.

I would switch and see how you do.  Stick with it for a few days and if it is still too hard just modify it by replacing some of the hard stuff with the level one stuff.
