For those of you who had your membranes stripped did it do anything for you? Sorry but I am clueless about this topic, my dr. stripped mine today and I am wondering what to expect if anything at all.

I didn't have mine stripped...but 2 of my friends did, one went into labor within 6 hours, the other went into labor the next day! Good luck!

I had it done on a Thursday afternoon & had some cramping that night and the next morning... then it stopped. My water broke at home on Sunday night -- but I think it was probably unrelated.

Good luck -- no matter what -- it should be soon!

not really. mine were stripped at 38 weeks and I delivered 8 days later. It was as immediate as I thought it would be

cramps and spotting at first..then later into the evening contractions! I was scheduled to be induced the next day due to GD, so when  i went in to get checked they went ahead and started the induction early since I was making some progress on my own.

I had mine stripped at 40 wks and it did nothing but I've also heard of ladies who it worked wonders for! I see you're at 37 wks so I wouldn't hold you breath at this point. Maybe it will work but only if your body was almost ready to go on its own. Good luck!

I had mine stripped at 40 wks, 1 day and went into labor that night. GL!

Mine were stripped on Friday afternoon and I went into labor early Sunday morning. I was told if it were going to do anything it would happen within 48 hrs. If you want to help it along, have sex!
