Can I AW my DD for a sec?

I know these are far and few between because, well, she's 16.

BUT, as much as a pain as she has been, she is maintaining her honor roll status, taking college classes, working her job where she is on time, and they love her, and she has been there almost a year. Great work ethic for such a young kid. 

And, I am PRETTY sure she is up to something for my birthday. Like, she bought something for me because she wouldnt let me balance her account and look at it online (Yes, SHE balances it, but I double check, she is still learning)

Oh, and she baked me a cake but she doesn't know that I know.

Sounds like you did a good job, Mom!  You should be proud-she sounds like a very responsible young lady and there aren't many of those around anymore it seems.

I've read the post about your dd before and she does sound like a good teenager.  She has very great grades, works and the other stuff, she's 16.  I hope you have a wonderful birthday and maybe spending some 1:1 time with that sweet dd would be great for the two of you.
