I saw your post from earlier today about the integrated preschool you found for Michelle. We found one in the area for Jayden, but they will not take him until he has a diagnosis (he doesn't have the appt with the dev. pedi until August). I think their reasoning for that is b/c the school is tuition free. He was on a waiting list for a regular preschool program and they called me to offer him a spot. I went in and spoke with the director and she assured me that they could accomodate his special needs, but I still have that anxiety about sending him there b/c of his feeding issues, special diet, sensory issues, and behavioral issues. Was Michelle in a regular preschool already? How did they do as far as accomodating her needs (I'm not sure exactly what all she has going on, but I'm thinking sensory right??)? Also, did the Integrated preschool require a diagnosis for her admission? I'm wondering if this is always the case or if I should continue to look around in our area b/c I think it would be best for Jayden at this point. I don't mind paying tuition, but I want him to go someplace where they can definitely give him the help and attention he needs.
