Where did you and your hubby/SO go on your first date?

DH took me to a driving range. I had never even attempted to hit a golf ball before, and in trying to help me, DH ended up taking a club to the head lol! I gave him a huge bruise on his temple and was sure that he'd never call me again! Luckily he has a great sense of humor (and a hard head!) and when we went out for the second time I only bonked him in the head with a cabinet door lol....

Our first date was at my dad's 40th birthday party! He waited a week to call me and its been love ever since!!!

We were in high school (16 and 17) so we went to a movie (Me, Myself, and Irene to be exact) and then miniature golfing. hehe OMG, this was almost 9 years ago!

The first night we "hung out", I guess was our 1st date, we went to IHOP with a group of friends about 7pm, and DH and I stayed in the booth talking and laughing until 5am... We've been together every day since.

Our first date was dinner at a cool restaurant where we closed the place and then went to Chili's and had a few drinks.  We had a lot in common we found out.  Ended up having three dates in a week alone.

We met at a bar, and we would occasionally meet up there. On our first actual "date", we went to the movies to see Pan's Labyrinth and then to a local pub for some delicious pub food and a couple beers.

It was "sort-of" a date, but we went to a coffee shop and I was so nervous that I was not very talkative and he thought I didn't like him after all. But I guess I made up for it by calling him that afternoon and asking if he wanted to go again the next day. We've been together every day since.

I was babysitting and he brought me mexican food and helped me watch the kids.  He was in school out of town so it was the only night he was going to be home.   I thought it was so nice that he dealt with kids he didn't know just to see me.

Our first real date was out to eat---mexican again!

It was high school, so it was more of a group date. I think the movie may have been Mortal Combat.

We were best friends before we actually started dating, so we did a lot of stuff by ourselves. One of our favorite outings was the observation deck of Reunion Tower in Dallas (the big ball). 

I can't believe the month our little girl is born we will have been together for 13 years!!

Hmm, we were friends for so long its kinda hard to decide when hanging out turned into actual dates but I'm going to have to go with Knotts Berry Farm since thats the first time we kissed and I realized I actually liked him

We did a lot of movies and pizza on the couch dates in the beginning.  However, I think our 1st official date was going to Buffalo Wild Wings and playing their trivia games.

We aren't sure if we ever had a first date.  We met in kindergarten and then went to separate schools after 2nd grade.  We met again at the end of senior year in high school at our elementary "class reunion", admired the others' good looks but he was going to West Point (which we all identified as some bizarre military school "up north" having no clue what it really was) and I was ready to party at LSU.  We met the third time at a keg party our junior year in college during Christmas break, exchanged phone numbers and then he went back to school the next day.  We talked on the phone for 3 months before he came home for spring break and we met up (with friends) at a bar for St. Patrick's Day (which was a Saturday).  We FINALLY went to lunch on the Monday so we count that as our first date - but by that point we'd been talking on the phone and not dating other people for 3 months!!  The lunch date took place at a local greasy spoon that his family's been going to for years.   And then we were inseparable for the rest of the week before he left again for another 4 months.  We were pretty long distance until we finally got married 3 years after the third meeting (on the 3rd wedding date we set).  We say our lucky number is three.  I think it might be - we got the BFP after 3 months of "trying".

I actually "dated" the FI in 1st grade, haha.  We started really dating in the 10th grade and our first date was to the Homecoming Dance.  I'd say it went pretty well

He made us dinner at his house (while his roommate st on the couch and watched football) and we went to see a movie- we were in college, it was a loooong time ago (or so it seems now)

We went to dinner at Applebees.  We were there for hours talking and I was blown away at how we were already finishing each other's sentences.  Kind of scary, and cool at the same time.  What's really funny is we went to applebees after our wedding too because we were so hungry and couldn't make the drive without eating!  LOL.

Our first date was at a sports bar/restaurant. ?We went back to the same restaurant several times while dating (usually on an anniversary) and always sat at the same table we sat at during our first date. ?On our 15 month anniversary, we went back again and DH proposed!

We never went on real dates. We hung out with mutual friends (we were already friends) and eventually just kinda branched off by ourselves. I mean, we went out to eat or to see movies, but it was always a "I'm bored, wanna go get some lunch?" never a "would you like to ...".?

Ours is not really "tell you grandkids"-worthy. We were in college and I thought he was cute and he thought I was cute...but had never actually talked to each other or hung out. So found this out through mutual friends, and so one day he knocked on my dorm room door, said, "So...I heard you might be interested in me?" and then came in. We talked for at least 5 hours, discovered we were really into each other, and had a lot in common. At some point he had to leave momentarily to cancel a date he had already made with another girl, because he said he was smitten. He have been inseperable since that first night. A year later he proposed and 6 weeks after that we got married.

We went for a picnic in the park. I didn't know there was a festival that day and there were cars everywhere. I told him to park near a stop sign and he got a ticket. Woops! He forgave me though, and refused to let me pay the ticket.

Our first date was dinner at Applebee's and then shopping at the King Of Prussia Mall.  It will be 10 years ago next month.  Gosh I feel old!!  We were so young when we started dating.  I was 18 and DH was 19.  We did a lot of growing up together!

We worked together in a nightclub, and had already been hanging out quite a bit as friends (I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend).  Finally when we were both single, I asked him out for his birthday.  We went to a really fancy restaurant, and then I had planned a surprise party for him at a hotel with all our friends from work. 

That was 12 years ago, and we still work for the same company (in the office now).  Our President thinks he had something to do with us hooking up, too and is quite proud of himself when he tells people the story!

We worked for the same company...he is a restaurant manager for Chili's in AZ, and I was his Restaurant Accountant.  We had this flirtation over the phone.  After about a month, he flew to Dallas to meet me in person.  Not exactly a date, but probably 4 of the best days ever!  We did go see a movie and have dinner at Maggiano's on that first trip...

Our first "real" date was just going out to grab something to eat at a bar/restaurant, but we were both so nervous/excited that we had no appetite and just had a few beers while we talked for a couple of hours. We knew each other already because I was friends with his younger brother in high school (FI's 2 years older than me, his brother is my age), but we never talked then - it wasn't until his brother came home from Iraq and I went to his welcome home party that FI and I not only noticed each other but really hit it off and exchanged numbers - we both really felt like best friends from that night on.

My fiance drove us to the black sand beach along California's coast one night. I had no idea where we were as it was pitch black that night and all I remember were trees and winding roads. He had picked up a pizza that night. The next morning I woke up before he did and walked out of the car only to see the beautiful beach and crashing waves. I was so thrilled that I ended up waking him up. We took a walk that day just talking about everything and looking at everything. I remember thinking, "This is the guy I will marry someday."
