frustrated....

So I have been to L&D twice now and both times sent home....I am just ready to meet my little man!!  Last night we went because my contractions were 5 minutes apart for an hour, I get hooked up to the monitor and they are 8 minutes apart.  I did dialate one more cm to 3 cm (silver lining).  Pus, I hate how they talk to you when the send you home from the hospital, I feel like I am 10 and doesn't know what labor is like.  Granted, its my first pregnancy but they are like when your water breaks its a gushing like a balloon popping.  So now here I sit going from contractions last night 5-8 minutes apart to none!  Don't get me wrong I am ecstatic to be pregnant but I am just at the point that I want to meet my little boy and to be a mommy!

I know you are anxious, but you are still 38 weeks!! He'll come in due time, let em bake for a bit more. ( coming from me who gave birth just before 41 weeks )

1. they should have told you that only about 10% of women actually have SROM.

2. Those that do often feel a trickle, not a gush. (my case)
