We are TTC #3 and I have yet to Ovulate. My first pp AF was 59 days long, which was hell, and my body is just a mess. My OB said give it another month and see what happens but he'd like to try Clomid to get me Oing again. I've always seen posts about it but never had any reason to read them. With DD#1 we got pregnant on the 1st cycle and DD#2 it took 2 cycles so we've been very lucky in this area. Tell me your goods and bads about Clomid. And what about multiples? I'm 35 and would be 36 when #3 arrives so I'm not wanting to wait too long just to see how things pan out.  Please share

I took clomid and got pg with our twins. We TTC for 15 months and then we were prescribed clomid. I was put on 50mg the first cycle and took them cycle days 3-7 and then I had to take estrogen days 8-12 and then progesterone from days 13 until a certain week in the pregnancy (I ended up taking it until the end of the first tri though). I didn't get pg the first month (didn't even O- I had an annovulatory cycle that month) so they bumped me up to 100mg the second month and that is the month that I got pg with the twins. I guess that clomid only increases your chance of multiples by 7-8% but my Dr said that my chances were higher b/c I have twins on MY side of the family.

My SIL got pg with triplet sons her first month on Clomid. They were born at 28wks. They have a LONG road ahead of them.  They will be 2 in July.
