Can you take antibiotics while pg?

Hello I am from TTTC and am 9dpiui, so in the 2ww, and came down with what I think is strep throat. I was running a temp of 101 and was taking tylenol for the last 2 days. I am going to the Dr. today but was wondering if there is any anitbiotics they can give me if I am potentially pg? Also, do you think having a fever ruined my chances of a BFP?

yes but it is very limited, I would talk to your Dr. explain the situation and see what they suggest.  To be honest with you I would ride it out til you know for sure whether you are PG.

There are ?antibiotics you can take - My OB gave me a z pack about a week before I delivered due to a horrible throat infection.

There are antiobiotics that are supposedly safe to use during pregnancy. I had to go on Keflex when I was about 8 weeks.  GL!

I was just prescribed amoxicillin yesterday - I have a double ear infection, sinus infection and bronchitis.  I hope that you feel better soon!

Like pp said, make sure your doc knows you have gone through IVF, are in the 2ww. ?There are certain antibiotics they can give you. ?I hope you feel better soon.

 I was prescribed Keflex also.

Well I jsut got back and I do have strep throat. They prescribed me Amoxicillian, and said that was safe to take incase I am PG.
