What is up with baby #2?

My due date is tomorrow and there is no sign that she is ready to come out. I am shocked I am still pg since my first was a few days early. I guess secretly I am glad since my parents are finally on their way out here from Illinois as we speak. I thought my mom was going to miss this one. I am not really dilated as of last Friday appt, but I was in the same boat with DS and my water broke with him. So for any of you girls that have been induced what can I expect or what exactly do they do. I am sure the Pitocin drip will come back out, but I am just curious since this seems to be the road I am heading down now. Thanks!

I was induced with DD. After getting me hooked up to all the IV's they gave me cervadil - whcih is a pill that I believe they break up into 4 doses. Its inserted into your cervix. I got this before the pitocin. My sister was also induced, but just got the pitocin. She was also 3 cm (i think) dilated - so she probably didn't need to get her going.

I was induced with DD. I was 3 cm when I got there, so they broke my water.  They gave me 2.5 hours but the contractions didn't really pick up.  They started me on the lowest dose of pitocin.  Contractions started coming every 2-3 minutes but were not bad.  I got the epi and DD was born 30 minutes later.
