I'm nervous. WE have a date tonight.

DS, DH and I are going over to one of DH's friends house for dinner. It will be him and his wife and their 3 year old daughter. I have only met the wife once and it was last summer. This is like a date!! DH wanted to find more families to be friends with that we can do things with. So him and his friend decided we were gonna switch houses and do dinners.

Augh... What do I wear for my date?? They have money and that intimidates me for them to ever come to our house. Man I hope DS doesn't throw food on the floor!!!!

Skinny jeans and a cute top.....not like a "girls night out" top, but maybe a cute tighter fitting top (something plain, but fashionable!)

It will be fun Don't let the "money" thing intimidate you.....and they have a 3 year old, so if Charlie throws food, they should understand

Are you bringing your own high chair?  Will it fit in your car?  It always makes me feel better when we do because I don't care if DS destroys his dinner on his own chair.  We also bring a garbage bag cut to spread out on the floor.  Wad it up after he's done and chuck it.  We usually bring one when we go out to eat too, because I feel so bad when we leave with the floor covered with food.

Best going out outfit - black pants and a cute top.  Dress it up with some jewelry or something.

You could do khakis and a nice shirt. Pick something you are comfortable in, because if you aren't comfortable, you are going to have a lousy time.

Aw... Skim has a "family" date. I'd just pick out a cute pair of jeans and a nice/casual top.  Hope you have fun!!!
