Not ready for daycare-NER

Tonight I spent the longest time folding our CDs for my baby's first day at daycare tomorrow- somehow thinking that prolonging the folding will prolong the inevitiable. I'm so glad they'll do CDs, but I can't believe my maternity leave is up and she has to be away from me all day. I just want to cry when I think about it.

I think I'll go take the hottest shower I can stand and hopefully be able to actually go to sleep tonight.

Re: Not ready for daycare-NER

  • Mine started today. It's hard. I cried (after I got back to my car). But it all worked out and he was plenty happy when I picked him up, no worse for the wear. It'll be okay---and kudos for finding a place that will use cloth!

  • I worked in a daycare in the infant classroom before DS was born and every Mom cried dropping their LOs off the first time. I always felt so bad. I would tell them to call 100 times if they wanted. One Mom gave me her cell # and I'd text her pics throughout the day. Hang in there, I promise it will get easier.?

    I'm sorry. ?:(

It is hard, but you get used to it. ?Well, some days are still hard, but mostly she likes it so much that I'm happy. ?

  • (((hugs)))

I cried when I dropped Xavian off, and made every single person I saw for the next 2 weeks look at his picture.
