I just slid down a few steps. It wasn't a big fall but I landed on my one buttcheek with enough force to give my back a little jolt. I hate that it's 9:50pm and that I should call my doc even though my gut tells me everything is fine (can feel baby moving, no bleeding, fall wasn't severe, etc.)
What were your stories? Did you call?
Re: So who fell while PG?
I fell on some ice a few months ago and didn't call. BUT looking back I probably should have, just to make sure everything was OK. I would call.
And I am cracking up at your sig. She is so adorable!!?

Second tri I think around 15 or 16 weeks, I fell HARD on a street flat on my belly. I badly grazed my hands but the belly was so big it still hit hard.
I was worried. We were on our way to dinner with a friend and we still went but I was pretty shaken. Next morning I called the Dr, who said amniotic fluid is a fantastic t hing and if there was no leaking or bleeding not to worry. I had my usual appointment a week or so later and it was all fine.
sh!t T! now I am going to worry about you and littlev. if you are feeling any doubts call the ob. sending good thoughts your way!
True MMML - I go on Thursday. Maybe I'll call tomorrow morning but I really don't feel like it was a crucial enough fall to disturb the on-call doctor (and yes I know it's their job and that they get paid a lot of money to do it).
Thanks Cookie. Nothing beats Princess Rory's pics though!
I am sure that you both are fine. update me in the morning asap. hugs. boo I hate this.
I fell while walking in NYC, it was snowing and slippery..... I did not get hurt and I did not even think to call my doctor.
Hope you're ok and everything is ok!
I did both times. The first time I fell down a few cement stairs and broke my foot. With Andersen, I fell onto our ottoman. I called the doc both times. She didn't have me come in for monitoring with Law -- I had my big u/s that week and she checked everything out then and the Urgent Care doc listened for the h/b. With Andersen, the on-call doc had me come in for monitoring even though I could feel him moving -- my belly hit the ottoman on my way down and she was concerned about placental abruption.
I'd call. There's a very slim chance anything is wrong, but if you're anything like me, you'd never forgive yourself if something happened and you hadn't called.
