RP: Spit Up Help

I don't know what to do! Our DD does have mild reflux and take Zantac twice a day. Her spitting up (well vomiting) had pretty much stopped for about 2 weeks on new formula and the medicine.  Well, I went back to work last week and she has spit up almost every single morning.  DH gets up and gets her ready while I get ready.  We let her sit up 30 minutes before leaving and yet she still throws up her entire bottle either as soon as we put her in the carseat, or on the way to my mom's house.  It is only during this time in the mornings, which is so weird!  She has no problem going into her carseat if we're out to eat or anything else.  Does anyone else know what I can do?  It is making my mornings super hectic and crazy!

  • I'm sorry I'm no help but wanted to say your DD is very cute!
  • Loading the player...
  • put a bib on her..this coming from a mommy who has had two spitters...if you have to keep changing clothes every time they spit, you will never get anywhere!  it will all be over by around 10 months...6 to go with DD #2!

  • we use bibs like they are paper towels in our house. also when we put him in the car seat we place a rag over his chest or sometimes tuck into the bib to catch the rest of his spit up.

we spit up all day long but the mornings are the worst for us too.

  • Bibs don't help.  This is not a "spit up".  This is projectile vomiting.  She literally looses her entire 4-5 oz bottle and COVERS her shirt, pants, socks/shoes and carseat.  If we are holding her she usually gets it all over us and/or our bed as well.  She was even covered with a blanket the other day and it was so much by the time I could pull over and get to her that it had soaked through the blanket onto her pants and shirt.
